A practical coater for varied surfaces.

01 — OVERVIEW

The APL RC series is a manually fed roller coater for UV varnish and other compatible lacquers. APL describes duplex board and thick paper above 120 gsm, alongside rigid surfaces such as plastic, wood, metal and glass.

The RC 30 and RC 40 reference models provide different working widths and drive ratings. An AC frequency drive adjusts speed, and compatible rubber rollers apply the coating. An air knife is available as an option; confirm its need against the material and coating process.

Inside the machine

the details.

Explore the capabilities that shape this machine’s role on your production floor.

01

Variable-speed operation

An AC frequency drive allows speed adjustment for the coating application.

02

Compatible coating rollers

The machine uses rubber rollers intended for UV coating applications.

03

Two reference formats

RC 30 and RC 40 are published with 750 mm and 1,000 mm widths respectively.

04

Air-knife option

Discuss the optional air knife when specifying your substrate and finishing process.
