01 — OVERVIEW

DIGI UV is a dedicated UV coating and curing machine for digitally printed work, including photo albums. APL also describes its use by offset and screen printers for full-coating UV jobs.

A touch display brings together speed, current, sheet count and lamp information. UV intensity can be selected in stages and synchronised with machine speed. The system includes lamp interlocks for hood opening, paper jams and belt stoppage, plus adjustable varnish flow and optional texture-roller or separate-tank arrangements.

01

Integrated display

View machine speed, current, sheet count and ready or error information at the controller.

02

Lamp coordination

The source describes intensity management, hibernation and synchronisation with speed.

03

Operating interlocks

Lamp, blower and conveyor are interlocked, with lamp shutoff for relevant stoppages.

04

Coating flexibility

Adjust varnish flow and discuss a texture roller or separate aqueous and UV tanks as options.
