01 — OVERVIEW

APL’s fully automatic screen printer combines an automatic feeder with swing- or stop-cylinder configurations. Front and side lays provide registration, while cylinder vacuum supports sheet handling through the print process.

The machine is described for screen printing and speciality finishes including spot UV, cold foil, cast & cure, glitter and scratch-card coating. Published formats include 20 × 30 and 30 × 40 inches, with output up to 3,600 sheets per hour depending on the job. Drying choices include LED UV, conventional UV, hot air and wicket systems.
