The technology, explained

A continuous curtain. A controlled coating.

01 — OVERVIEW

The APL WCC Curtain Coater is designed for coatings with different viscosities. Removable coating heads are mounted with trolleys separated from the machine structure, allowing the coating arrangement to be configured around the production need.

Stainless steel tanks include temperature control to help maintain uniform viscosity. The reference assembly lists a conveyor drive and varnish pumps. Discuss the coating formulation, working width and target film deposit when selecting the curtain-coating process.
