Head selection
Choose a fixed rigid head or discuss the floating auto-levelling arrangement for your panel.
Control the coating across the panel.
Controlled roller coating for wood and rigid flat surfaces.
APL’s Single Station Roller Coater applies coatings to panels using a roller-based process. The published configuration offers a fixed rigid head for selected thicknesses and applications, or a floating, auto-levelling arrangement for other panel shapes.
The auto-levelling approach is intended to maintain pressure across the panel profile. A varnish pump and roller drive form part of the reference assembly. Discuss coating viscosity, required deposit and panel thickness with APL to choose the suitable head arrangement.
