Instant curing for the sheetfed press.

01 — OVERVIEW

Designed for folding cartons, packaging and plastics printing, APL’s sheetfed LED UV system combines instant switching with an application suited to press retrofits. It can support print and coating workflows, including combinations of CMYK and drip-off effects.

The published range describes a single LED cassette for suitable four-colour printing and coating jobs, with a stated LED life above 30,000 hours. Thin PP and PVC are identified among the applications. Press compatibility, ink coverage and production speed need to be matched to the selected configuration.
